During wash I have locked out my Volvo V50. I have only one key and knew it was coming.
Solution is getting one more key which will need to be programmed at the dealer.

You're right about this winter being a tough one, more snow than i have even seen in Winnipeg but my C30 is handling it well
for info, second set of key with built in fob for 2008 XC90 was $510 CAD, including programming, all from dealer
This is the reason why I have a copy of the emergency key blades along with the rest of my keys. Luckily I've never had to use it (knock on wood)
Interesting, my 2011 S80 never allows me to lock any door if the key fob is inside… It has many antennas that detect the fey fob, happened many times to try to lock the doors with the key inside and the car refused to do it!
I also have been locked out from my S40 one time and I was forced to open the door with the same way…
How did you accidentally lock yourself out? Just curious. I have never locked myself out, but I have accidentally erased all keys from programming in my car when I was playing around in Vdash, so I had to use it to reprogram both keys lol. No where near as expensive as at the dealer though.
Can i ask how the headlight washer painted cover attaches on the XC70 fender (Bumper) ?

$400 Canadian = $315 USD. Here in US it costs $400 for key and programming. That = $507 CAD. You did really good compared to the US costs.

Yes, this winter took a while to get here but does not want to leave. The newer cars are just nice to look and nothing else, takes deep pockets to maintain. I can replace my keys at the hardware store for 5 bucks!
£256 when i had a key done for my V50 back a few yrs ago now (that was for the fob, key blade cut and programming)
