Here I am pulling out the rear seats, bolsters, and rear deck. Also cleaning in preparation for the swap.

This is pretty good and very entertaining. Love the part where his phone was ringing. What I've learned about working on Volvo's and Mercedes is that if it is difficult, you are doing it wrong. Case in point, the side bolsters of the back seats. If you go in through the trunk for the top clip once you undo that one, the other two come out with ease. Access is by moving the felt trunk lining to the side you'll see a small square hole in the upper part of the trunk on either side of the back seats. There is a little tab that you have to push, to the outside of the car and then push the bolster forward from the trunk.

This video was exactly what I needed. Just bought an 18 year old S80 with the most disgustingly dirty tan leather seats. Really dirty. I came across your video on how to remove the rear seats. Great video, with some very clear instructions on what I need to do to remove my seats easily. Thank you for the effort you made in making it, you have been very helpful.

You should have vacuumed up all that loose change with a wet-dry moneysucker, I always use one before excavating an old interior. Back to the salt mines!
