20 seconds window calibration Volvo S60 V70 XC70 XC90 2001-2009



If you have a later year and the window doesn’t lower in auto mode after putting the fuse back in place, lower the window instead fully in manual mode (keep the button depressed) – and leave us a comment to let others know!
Note that your fuse panel sticker may differ on later years, but you’re still looking for the 'front door module power supply’ either left or right

  1. For newer cars, if the auto-down at 1:00 doesn't work, try these other procedures:
    1. Instead of auto-down, try manual down all the way, then manual up all the way, then try again auto-down.
    2. Instead of auto-down, do manual up all the way, then hold auto up for 10 seconds, then see if the calibration did succeed.

    VIDA procedure
    – Select DIAGNOSTICS tab
    – Select VEHICLE COMMUNICATION sub-tab
    – Click on DDM or PDM module on the vehicle graphic (PDM=Passenger Door Module, DDM=Driver Door Module)
    – Under the vehicle graphic, click Advanced > DDM > Initializing the window position
    – Click the VCT2000 image to execute the script

  2. For my 2007 S60, I follow your video, then manual up all the way, hold auto up for 10 seconds and then it is calibrated. Holding down didn't work for me.

  3. Thank you very much! Do you happen to know what is wrong with my driver side window? Automatic up/down isn't working anymore at all, and before the window wants to go down manually using the button I have to pull the button up first.. somtimes I even have to press the button down like 5 times before it wants to start moving. I am suspecting there is something wrong with the button since sometimes when I push the button down I dont even hear the window motor try to push it down
